Extension for OpenCart integration with Viber Rest API
The extension sends Viber notifications to OpenCart administrators or managers about certain conversions on the site, such as a new order, order status change, buyer registration, product reviews, product return processing. The module instantly notifies the administrator about the received order, sends all the main details of the order directly to the Viber application. In this way, the admin or managers will not miss important conversions on the site and will be able to react promptly to them.
IMPORTANT: Since February 5th, 2024, a new Viber commercial model applies to all new chatbots, 100 euro/month. If your chatbot is created before this date, you can use your chat-bot for free.
Integration is performed through the Viber bot. Registering the bot is very simple, you need to fill in a few fields with contact data and as a result you will receive a token code. Viber Rest API is free to use, you don't need to pay for messages. It is possible to add several managers to the recipient.

How to create a Viber bot:
Go to the Viber Admin Panel and authorize by receiving a code in the application.
In the side menu, click on "Create Bot Account"
Fill out the bot's profile: avatar, bot name, url address, type of business, language and country, short description or slogan, website address, email.
Click the Create button and you will receive a token, which must be copied and pasted into the module settings in the "Bot Token" field.
Module installation instructions:
Upload the module in the admin panel in the "Extensions" : "Install".
Go to the "Extensions" : "Extensions" : "Modules" and enable the module.
Edit module. Turn on the status of the module and insert the "Bot Token" received when registering the bot in Viber (instructions above).
At this stage, you need to save the module settings. This can be done with the green button so as not to leave the page.
Now, after saving, you can find out your recipient ID. Open your bot in the Viber application (menu More > Options > My bots or in the browser enter the url viber://pa?chatURI=botnickname where instead of botnickname enter the URI of your bot). Write something to your bot, in response you will receive a code - this is your ID. You can also invite other users to the bot via the Share button. Other users can get their ID in the same way.
Insert the ID in the field of the "Recipient ID" module. If you have multiple recipients, separate them with commas, without spaces.
Choose which notifications you want to receive and save the settings again.
Check module operation.
