OpenCart extension for the Ukrainian market for payment to the IBAN account of an individual entrepreneur, LLC or private enterprise by scanning a QR code on your website with a banking application. After placing an order, the client is provided with a payment QR code with all the details and order data. To pay, the client needs to scan the received QR code using the mobile application of one of the banks or upload an image of the QR code or a screenshot with the code into the scanner of the banking mobile application, and there is also an automatic call to the payment application on the smartphone after placing an order. After this, all payment details and the payment amount will be automatically filled in, the client will only have to select a bank card to pay for the order. For such operations, a cash register is not needed, since this is a direct payment to a bank account.
Payment by IBAN using a QR code (for Ukrainian business only)
According to the National Bank of Ukraine the QR code can be used when paying for goods and services (including for generating invoices for government, administrative and utility services, etc.), as well as for transferring funds from an account or card to an IBAN account. The QR code is generated in accordance with the requirements of the NBU ("Rules for the formation and use of a QR code for making credit transfers").
The extension was developed for the Ukrainian market taking into account the “Rules for the formation and use of QR codes for credit transfers” developed by the NBU. The list of Ukrainian banks working with QR codes can be viewed here.
Using this payment module, you can replace acquiring systems, because you will be able to receive payments directly to your bank account without intermediary commissions of aсquirer, that is, acquiring systems. Also, the advantage of this module is the ability not to use fiscal registrar for such operations, because in fact this is an operation of transferring funds from the account of the agricultural entity (business entity) to the account of the agricultural entity. That is, in fact, this is a payment via IBAN for OpenCart (to the account of an individual entrepreneur or LLC) only in a convenient format, where you do not need to enter details manually.
The QR code for payment of the order will be displayed:
- on the checkout success page
- in the order history, in the buyer’s personal account
- in an email message sent to the buyer after placing an order
- on the order view page in the admin panel
- in printed form of the invoice (in the invoice)
Module installation instructions:
- Upload the module in the admin panel in the "Extensions" : "Install".
- Go to the "Modifications" section and update the cache.
- Go to the "Dashboard" section and update the template cache.
- Go to the "Extensions" : "Extensions" : "Modules" and enable the module.
- Edit module. Enable the status of the module and adjust all its options to your needs and save the settings.
- Check module operation.
