How to get Youtube API key?

We offer you instructions on how to quickly and easily get a free Youtube API key. The key will be needed to work with the API protocol with videos, channels, and playlists. Some of our modules use the Youtube Data API, so we've written an illustrated guide on how to get a Google API key.

1) Sign in to Google. Go to https://console.cloud.google.com/cloud-resource-manager and create a project if you don't already have one by clicking "Create project".

2) Fill in the fields and click the "Create" button.

3) Go to https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/library. Select the created project, find and click on the "Youtube Data API v3" block.

4) Enable the API by clicking the "Enable" button.

5) Press "Create credentials" button.

6) Select the data type, ie "Public data", and click the "Next" button.

7) Copy your API key.
