Update currency rates by Privatbank in OpenCart 4.0

Module for automatic and manual update of exchange rates in OpenCart via API of Privatbank (Privat24). It works with the following currencies: hryvnia (UAH), US dollar (USD) and euro (EUR). The Privat24 Currency Exchange extension can correctly update exchange rates in the OpenCart 4 system according to which currency is set by default. In this way, the prices in the online store will always be relevant, and this is important at a time when the exchange rate changes almost every day.

After installing this module in the store on OpenCart, it will be possible to update the exchange rate using the Privatbank API, it can be updated manually or automatically. You can manually update the rate in the System / Localization / Currencies section by clicking the "Update currency rates" button. To automatically update the course daily, it is enough to enable this option in the store settings, it is located in the System / Settings / Editing the store / "Localization" tab.

In the module settings, you can choose which course you need:

Privatbank cash exchange rate (as in branches)
Privatbank cashless exchange rate (as in Privat24, card conversions, when replenishing deposits)

You can also specify which type of course to receive:

Currency buy rate
Currency sale rate

The extension is built for OpenCart 4.0, but can be ported to other versions of OC for additional fee.

Module installation instructions:

Upload the module in the admin panel in the "Extensions" / "Install".
Go to the section "Extensions" / "Extensions" / type of extensions "Currency" and enable the module "Privat24 Currency Converter."
Edit module. Turn on the status of the module and adjust all its options to your needs and save the settings.
Go to the System / Localization / Currencies section and check whether the Hryvnia currency with UAH code is present. If not, add it there.
Go to the System / Settings / Shop editing / Localization tab, select "Privat24 currency rate" in the "Currency rate provider" field. If necessary, enable the option "Automatic update of currencies".
