Priceman is a powerful module for group editing of prices and specials on OpenCart. With it, you can quickly update prices for products on selected filters, as well as add or cancel promotions.

Priceman: Price and Discount manager features:

Mass price and special price editing OpenCart
To update prices and stocks, you can specify a simple arithmetic operation or prescribe a complex formula that will calculate the price based on other parameters of the product.
To calculate the price or discount, you can perform any mathematical operation with the following variables: {price} {quantity} {minimum} {model} {sku} {ean} {mpn} {upc} {jan} {isbn} {location} { weight} {length} {width} {height}. Each of these variables will substitute the corresponding value of the product parameter in the calculation formula. In the field "Custom formula" you can write a complex mathematical formula with many operations, parentheses, variables and numbers.
For example, to increase prices by 20%, you can write the formula: {price} * 1.2 or use the visual formation of the formula by selecting "+", writing the number "20" and clicking on the sign "%". You can also prescribe a price formula based on weight, size and other parameters of the product, for example: {length} * {width} * {height} * 250
The module can round the received price in several ways:
- to a larger integer value (ceil function)
- to a smaller integer value (floor function)
- to the nearest mathematical value with a specified number of decimal places (round function)

Can Specials be created using the Priceman module and canceled?
The Priceman module allows you to create and cancel Specials according to specified filters, that is, for certain groups of goods by categories and manufacturers, for goods with certain options or attributes, by price ranges, for different groups of buyers. With the help of the module, you can reduce prices by a certain percentage or by a certain fixed amount. Promotions can be completed just as easily.
What does the Reset Prices / Specials button do in the Priceman module?
When you click on the "Restore Prices" or "Restore Specials" button, all previous changes will go back one step. That is, after an unsuccessful price change or an error in the formula, you can return to the previous price values. But you must remember that you can only go back one action. Therefore, always make a backup copy of the price tables before working with the module, for this there is a "Save backup" button in the module.
How to restore prices from a backup made in the Priceman module?
To restore previous prices from a backup, use the standard OpenCart form in the admin section System : Maintenance : Backup / Restore, go to the Import tab and upload your backup file there.
