With the extension OpenCart 4 SeoPro, you can create a flat URL structure for products, categories, brands, and pages, or vice versa, create URLs that contain parent directories, such as categories or brands in the product URL. Links that are duplicates of a page will automatically receive a permanent 301 redirect to the canonical URL.
The module caches SEO URL data to improve performance. To reset the cache, you need to re-save the extension settings or clear the cache in any other way.
Extension installation instructions:
- Go to "System" : "Settings" : "Server" and turn on the "SEO URL" switch
- Go to the root folder of the site and rename the .htaccess.txt file to .htaccess
- Upload the module in the admin panel in the "Extensions" : "Install". Install the extension on bottom.
- Go to the "Extensions" : "Extensions" : "Other" and enable the module.
- Edit module. Enable the status and adjust all its options to your needs and save the settings.
- Check SEO URL on your website.
