Manufacturer categories in OpenCart

The extension for OpenCart allows you to create categories for the manufacturer, i.e., these are brand series, brand lines, brand collections, brand models, brand sets that combine certain brand products into groups. In addition to the manufacturer, you will need to specify its subcategory in the product. These subcategories will be displayed on the manufacturer's page as additional filters. The page of the manufacturer category looks like a standard category and has similar fields, that is, you can set a multilingual description, meta tags, SEO URL, choose a multistore, filters, layout. That is, with the help of this extension, you can create manufacturer brand model pages on OpenCart, which contain all products of a certain model.

After installing and enabling the module, you will be able to see the changes in the standard Catalog -> Manufacturers section, where you can add your own categories to each manufacturer, as well as view their list. After creating categories for each manufacturer, you will be able to see them in the product edit form. After selecting the manufacturer for the product, a list of its categories (collections, models) will be uploaded, you can select them by ticking the desired values. Now, in addition to the manufacturer's page, the product will be displayed on the page of the selected categories, that is, the manufacturer's models.

The extension copies the product category template file from your theme, so usually the appearance of the brand category page will be automatically adapted to your theme. The module also creates a separate layout for the brand collection page, the name of this layout is "Manufacturer Category". There you can display additional modules.

The extension is fully compatible with SEO URL and SEO Pro. SEO URL manufacturer category page link will look like /brand/category/
